Asset Agreement Inspection

In organising and conducting asset agreement inspections for a substantial portfolio of banks, brokers and other financial organisations throughout the UK and Europe.

Millar provide a full specification check on all assets which produces an Asset Agreement Inspection report and photographic evidence of condition. Pictures include External, internal, Vin plates, Mileage and spec.

Asset Inspections

Millar’s team of independent fleet engineers carry out thorough vehicle inspections nationwide from Pre Delivery to End of Lease. All asset inspections are carried out by our mobile engineers at customer’s preferred location and inspect all types of vehicles which includes Cars, Vans, LGV, HGV, PCV, Plant Equipment and Lifting Equipment

 We comply with customer health and safety regulations and provide full cosmetic and mechanical defect report with photos that can be viewed and down loaded from our website

Comprehensive Inspections

Millar’s team of engineers will carry out a full independent inspection and will equip the customer with the relevant information.

Having a PVI is an affordable alternative and will help prevent future problems.

Cosmetic Inspections

This inspection is ideal for vehicles covered under a maintenance package as customers require vehicles to be free from damage and repaired to a good standard.

Millar’s team can provide an estimate at the time of inspection and request damage payment upon completion. ( If requested to do so by the lessor / customer ).

Three part vehicle inspection that covers all defects including ancillary equipment.

End of Lease / Contract Inspections

Four part vehicle inspection that lists all defects including ancillary equipment that do not meet return conditions set out at the beginning of the contract.

Millar work to fair wear and tear guidelines and mechanical wear outlined by manufacturers guidelines. Discuss all defects listed with the lessee at the time of inspection and request agreement Signature. Provide copies or photographs of all legal documentation required at the time of inspection.

Fleet Check / Interim Inspection

The interim inspection is designed to check a number of vehicles / assets together and provide a full report for each vehicle / asset. We can inspect up to eight vehicles / assets in any one location in a day, ( Subject to Vehicle type ). Millar can offer this service seven days a week.

The fleet check inspection is ideal for the following :

Mechanical Inspections

Any road safety defects listed on the report will be identified to the customer at the time of inspection to give adequate time to rectify faults.
Millar’s team will carry out a full road test at the end of the inspection.

Pre Delivery Inspection / PDI

Having a PDI helps to eliminate early warranty issues and incorrect specification problems.

Re - Inspections

Any defects that have not been rectified will remain on the revised estimate and will automatically be charged by the lessor.

Valuation

Millar will provide a valuation report that includes an estimated value of the asset at the time of inspection in the current condition. The value will reflect mileage usage, service history, type of work and condition.

An estimate to rectify all defects to an industry standard will be produced and a new estimated asset value will be supplied.

Van Fleet Inspections

As part of the fleet check / interim inspection Millar provide an affordable way to check your van fleet to insure you have no PG9 against your company name.

Day rates are available to check up to 10 vehicles.

The fleet check / interim inspection will cover the running gear of the vehicles and will make sure all vehicles comply with roadworthy and safe standards.

The inspection and all photographs will be available to view on our website with a secure log in and the customer would have been made aware of any major defects.

The service will be available 7 days a week.

PVI - Personal Vehicle Inspection

Millar can help make the decision of buying or selling vehicles easier by having a PVI.

Customers require peace of mind and insurance that the vehicle in question is roadworthy and has no hidden defects.

Millar works closely with the customer to maintain the assistance required to meet the operator’s licence.

Our management system will assist in service and MOT Planning, breakdowns and set up local service providers.

Our system is available 24/7/365 and can be accessed at any time on our website with advanced warnings and email reminders of service and all legal requirements.

Fleetcare Repair Maintenance

Millar assist in a low cost and efficient way to repair customer assets.

We have a nationwide network of repairers that cover a full range of repairs.

Our approved repairers are selected for their location and facilities together with their skills level, ability, capability and standard of work.

To avoid extended delays Millar would manage larger batches by using more than one repairer.

We can arrange collection and delivery for any assets at any time.
